About Me

I am glad your curiosity has driven you here!

To begin with, I am of Lebanese origins, from a village called Almaat in Byblos. 18 years after I was born, I decided to study engineering. In June 2008, I graduated from the American University of Beirut (Lebanon) with a  Bachelor of Engineering, specialized in Networking and Telecommunications, with distinction. Although I worked on few research projects and had a couple of publications, I tend more to be a practical guy with strong, diverse skills.

After my engineering studies, I immediately flew off to Qatar, where I worked as an engineer in the Data Center of Navlink for 13 months. Then, I turned my interests to management. Encouraged by two of my childhood friends, I joined them to pursue a masters degree in management in France at Telecom Ecole de Management (formerly known as INT). Shortly after I finished my studies in March 2010, I started working with Orange as a Technical Account Manager in the Business Services division. You can also read more details about my professional life on my Linkedin page.

You're probably asking yourself about my interests by now. Well, I'm very passionate about oriental, Arabic music. I have played a variety of instruments in my teenage years, but since 2006 the classical Arabic music has taken my attention, and I started to learn the Oud, mainly by myself - although I had a teacher for the first few months. You can listen to some of my recordings in the Oud playing section of my website.

Besides my Oud which takes most of my free time, and which you can see in the image galleries, I am deeply interested in technological news and innovations - as you may have guessed from my engineering profile. It's passion since my middle school days, and will always be.
